The Institute for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (IIES)’s mission is to enrich and spread knowledge linked to innovation and Social Entrepreneurship, thanks to research programmes.

The training programmes developed by IIES’s research are as follows:

Social Entrepreneurship: creation and management of social enterprises
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) / “Base of the Pyramid” (BOP)
Equal Opportunities in education and training

Our research has led to the creation of tools and models, at the same time involving students as frequently as possible, so that they can expand their knowledge in this area. We then experiment with these tools within our social innovation laboratory using pilot projects. The results of these experiments have given rise to academic publications, as well as communications and involvement in conferences, as you will find in the Resources section.
