Resideo
"The values of social economy are the driving force behind the Resideo group’s actions. Through supporting the Social Entrepreneurship Chair, the Resideo group is pursuing its commitment to developing projects which have deep roots in local territories, bringing together social utility and economic effectiveness. Major housing issues in France mean that the housing sector of the social economy must remain innovative. The dynamism and skills of new generations of graduates trained in Social Entrepreneurship are not only desirable, but indispensable." Dominique Giry, General Manager of the Resideo group

Eco-Emballage
Created in 1992 under the initiative of industrial figures with approval from public authorities, Eco-Emballage has a general interest mission: to organise, supervise and support the sorting and recycling of waste packaging in France. Eco-Emballage aids local authorities in implementing selective waste collection, through providing technical, financial and practical assistance. Furthermore, they guarantee that packaging which has been sorted is gathered and recycled. Eco-Emballage also raises awareness of the importance of sorting waste among individuals and businesses. It promotes packaging design with minimal impact on our environment.

"Eco-Emballage fully encourages Sustainable Development. It acts as an economic partner, providing financial support to industrial figures and local authorities. It is also an environmental player, through initiatives linked to eco-design and life cycle analysis and is very much involved in society. Recycling – a change in day to day behaviour – has taught French citizens to take account of the environment, the fight against waste and the problem of resources. The selective sorting of waste has enabled us to create 20000 direct jobs and we have set ourselves the goal of encouraging local authorities to recruit 30000 waste sorting ambassadors. Sustainable development and the necessity to forge partnerships with all stakeholders inspired us to join the Institute for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship" - Bernard Herodin, Manager of Eco-Emballage
